Panda Plus Letterhead

I kept the letter head simple. Kept the Panda Logo and same text as the business card. Added to lines below and above the text to make it stand out.

Panda Plus Business Card

For my business card I wanted to keep it simple and clean. I wanted to incorporate the Panda colors of black and white with a hint of color. The green is the same throughout. I used a fun font and took away my original text in my logo. I put the panda on both pages since he reduces pretty well on the back. I also thought the black line was simple and professional looking.

Corporate Identity Questionare

Corporate Identity Questionaire

Corporate Identity Questionaire (Due 10/17)
Half of the success of a Corporate Identity project is knowing the company/brand.How do you talk about something you don’t know anything about? Take a look at McDonalds, for example. What do they do? They sell food. What kind of food? Cheap food. What kind of cheap food? American food that people can buy and with little to no wait – they can even drive right up and take their food to go. They’re kid friendly. They have cartoonish mascots (Ronald, Hamburglar) and have happy meals. Their colors are bright and bold primary colors (red and yellow).

1) What is your business?
A clothing company.

2) Describe your business in one sentence
We make environmentally friendly comfortable usable clothes for plus sizes.

3) Who is your target audience?
My target audience is teens and young adults that need plus sizes.

4) Who are your competitors?
There aren't to many competitors but companies like alternative apparel are one of them which uses recycled fabrics. Torrid also makes plus size trendy clothing.

5) What makes them better/worse than your product/service?
Ex: Skaters Choice Skate Shop site doesn’t work right now. SPoT Skate Shop sells shoes, clothes and skateboards, nothing for regular skates. Skate America’s site is currently being redone so all you can do is sign up for their email listing. None of these are ideal for buying skates, skate parts or customizing skates online.

Not many companies specialize in plus size clothing. There aren't very many trendy cool clothing for this audience of people. Alot of the population is overweight now and the need will probably keep growing. I think my panda logo is a cute appeal to consumers along with the eco-friendly draw that is popular. Unlike Torrid Panda Plus offers simple clothing like tees, sweatpants, sweatshirts, and jeans. Every day essentials. I think Torrid's audience is more for going out party kind of clothes.

6) Do you currently have an identity? (This is more for companies that are already established  and you’re just revamping the logo/corporate identity. If you have a new company or product, skip this question.)

7) (If your answer to #6 is no, skip this question) What do you like about it and what don’t you like about it?

8) How do you want your image to be seen in two years?
I want people to feel comfortable wearing these clothes. They should be a basic in anyones wardrobe. It should be seen as a reliable brand that is cool and usable.

9) If your company was an animal, what animal would it be and why?
A panda because they are chubby cute and fun.

10) If your company/brand was a person, who would it be and why?
It would be someone who is environmentally friendly and down to earth. Not so concerned with fashion and energetic.

11) If your company/brand was an object, what would it be?
It would be someone's favorite worn in soft sweatshirt.

12) If your customer was a cartoon character, who would it be?
I guess Homer from the Simpsons, or Meg from family guy. People who are funny and not the trendiest people concerned with how they look all the time.

Lyrical Collage

I decided to do a bulletin board incorporating pictures and objects like the one I have in my room. I used regular pictures and added shadows to make them seem like they stood out from the cork board. After I put the pictures on I thought that they looked unrealistic without a way of sticking them on the cork board. So I decided to add things which would normally hold pictures up. I cut out pictures of things like tacks, tape, pins, and a ticket to give it the 3D feel. I also added shadows and texture to these objects to give depth. I used alot of stuff which represented my hometown, Florida, and my family and friends. I used the lyrics from James Taylor's song You've Got a Friend.
